Objective and Need
The main objective of this scheme is to identify those families living in rural areas , who have been deprived of getting benefits under this scheme till now . The last survey was done in 2018-19 , and since then many new families have been formed who may be eligible for this scheme. This new survey has been started to benefit these families.
Survey Process
1. Role of surveyors
- The responsibility of this survey will mainly be with the Rural Housing Assistant.
- In those Panchayats where there are no Rural Housing Assistants, this work will be done by the Panchayat Employment Officer .
- If a Panchayat has neither a Rural Housing Assistant nor a Panchayat Employment Officer, then this work will be completed by the Panchayat Secretary.
2. Technical means
- The survey work will be done through the Housing App 2024 launched by the state government.
- All applicants' information and e-KYC will be recorded digitally through this app .
Eligibility and Ineligibility
Eligibility
- Only those families will be included under this scheme who are completely homeless or do not have a pucca house.
Disqualification
- The following families will not get the benefit of this scheme:
- Those who have a pucca house.
- Those who have a motorized three-wheeler or four-wheeler.
- Those who have mechanized agricultural equipment available.
- Those who have a Kisan Credit Card with a loan limit of more than ₹50,000 .
- Those who have registration of non-agricultural business.

Since the last survey, many new families have been formed , who are eligible for the scheme. Under this scheme, the selected beneficiaries will be provided financial assistance of ₹ 2,50,000 by the government . Beneficiaries can use this amount to build their own pucca house.
